In 2001, Bryan became an Oklahoma City Police Officer, where he served for over a decade. During his career, he worked patrol where he earned the rank of Staff Sergeant, and would eventually serve as a Detective in the Domestic Violence Unit. In 2007 he was named the Fraternal Order of Police’s Member of the Year, and in 2011, he received the Meritorious Award from the department. Bryan was elected and served three terms as a member of the Executive Board for the FOP.
Bryan became deeply involved with the CHAPPS program, where he assisted the department chaplain with officer-involved shootings, in-custody deaths, and various serious and critical accidents. This service to others became one of the most meaningful parts of his career as a police officer.
After retiring from law enforcement in 2012, Bryan stepped in to help lead his family’s directional drilling business where he helped to manage operations, employees, equipment, and major company decisions.
Today, he is helping to start and grow a small car dealership as he continues his commitment to building up local communities and working directly with those around him.
Bryan has served on the board of his church since 2017 and has been active in church leadership throughout his life. Faith guides his character, decisions, and his interactions with everyone he meets.
He has been married for 20 years and has two children. His family is the center of his life and inspire him to be better every single day.
Bryan believes that trust is earned through steady, fair, and accountable leadership, and he believes that District 24 deserves a senator who will show up, tell the truth, and carry the weight of the job.
